I’ve been doing some research on what are the available forums that are free in the Internet. Here is the list of my top picks for this topic.
- phpBB - the most common free forum made in php.
- My Perl Yabb - is the leading open source forum (bulletin board or discussion board) made in Perl.
- punBB - is a lightweight PHP powered discussion board (aka forums or BBS). PunBB is the bbs used by Eskwela.com

I just viewed a cool dance music by Mark Herras at youtube.com. The title of the song is Pump it Rock it. I tried to look for the mp3 file but unfortunately, I was unable to find one.
Here are the options that I tried:
- Search the Internet for the Mp3 - failed
- Search the song at file sharing software like Bearshare - failed
Since I can hear the music at youtube.com but I cannot download it, I decided to just record it from my pc. I used the Windows sound recorder and started recording the file.
I will post how did I do that tomorrow.

I came to a point where I need to automate a PHP file for my web site. This PHP file extracts links to other sites. The result is a database of links. This is just a small project, a practice activity for my bigger projects that involves crawling websites and extracting useful information.
The command that will run my PHP file is
wget -O /dev/null http://www.adquarium.com/file.php
The -O /dev/null will prevent the command to save the output file.
The url is the location of my file.
Wget is the command that will execute the PHP file.
It is really interesting to know this feature because you can do things automatically like Read the rest of this entry »

“Hizbullah is doing more for the Palestinian cause than any Arab government has ever done. When he says he will resist Israel, he does,” said Muhammad Hassan, who runs a small barber’s shop. “We didn’t know he had such technology - and especially the ability to hit an Israeli warship. It was a nice surprise.”
These lines were quoted from a Palestinian Barber interviewed by a reporter in Beirut. It seems that most palestinians really hate Israeli Government and Palestinians are PRO Hezbollah.
Sabra and Shatila became headline news in 1982, when Israeli forces during an earlier invasion of Lebanon surrounded the camp and allowed Christian militias in to slaughter unarmed Palestinians. At least 700 people, perhaps as many as 3,500, were massacred, an atrocity for which an Israeli inquiry concluded that Ariel Sharon, then Israel’s defence minister, bore “personal responsibility”.
Hezbollah militants are being attacked now by Israeli forces in Lebanon. Israeli Army said that their intention is only to weaken the Hezbollah militant group so that Lebanese government can move into areas controlled by these guerillas.

Israel’s attack on Lebanon may start the World War III. The muslim countries propose to the United Nations to stop Israel from attacking Lebanon while United States and other western powers puts a veto for a cease-fire.
Israel attacked Hezbollah militants in Lebanon kidnapped and killed 3 Israeli soldiers. Hezbollah militants fired rockets to Israel while the army of Israel bomb key Hezbollah military installations.
Well, what can we expect, Christians vs. Muslims = World War III?
